Helen and Rob chose the perfect wedding venue for their Spring wedding. We say Spring, but the weather felt more like the Mediterranean in the height of summer. It was a seriously hot day.

On the day we caught up with Helen who was getting ready at a nearby hotel and her Mum and sister were on hand, to help her get ready. Helen looked amazing in her dress. We captured a lovely Father seeing the bride moment.

As is tradition, Rob arrived at the venue first and we managed to catch up with him to get a couple of images of him, his best man and grooms party.

That is the great thing about there being two if us. We can be in two places at the same time, which means we do not miss any of those all important bridal and groom preparation images.

Let's talk about the venue. The wedding venue space at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is called 'Rewley Road' and is charming, quirky and enchanting. Sandwiched between two old train carriages, it has a striking glass roof that provides tons of natural light (every Buckinghamshire wedding photographers dream!)

Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is set in 125 acres of beautiful countryside. When we shoot Buckinghamshire Railway Centre wedding photography, we love the diversity of the venue. As we are always spoilt for choice, both inside and out, for stunning backdrops in all of our images.

Traditional street party style decorations of bunting, flowers and picnic style table settings, gives this venue a vintage vibe of the romantic and golden bygone era of steam train travel. Charming, quirky, laidback and fun. The venue was the perfect match for Helen and Rob's personalities.

Helen and Rob's ceremony was beautiful. Afterwards they and their guests enjoyed a drinks and canapes reception and took the chance to relax, mingle and explore.

And we took our chance to quickly whisk Helen and Rob off for twenty minutes to get some great portrait images of the two of them. Helen and Rob were relaxed and easy going. This made our job so much easier and more fun. Our favourite image was of the two of them on the platform.

The wedding reception was held at Rewlwy Road that the staff had quickly transformed into the most perfect space for the reception. Crisp white linen on the tables, white bunting, elegant table floral displays. It looked amazing. After everybody enjoyed a sumptious meal there were some very well received speeches, before an egg and spoon race outdise. That is right, an egg and spoon race!

Now we must mention the cake. It was cleverly and kindly made by a gust and as the weather was so hot it took a downward slide! But even a little melted, it looked amazing and no doubt it tasted fantastic too.

When it came to the evening celebrations, we can confirm that Helen, Rob and their guests, were really up for having a party.

The sight of Helen, Rob and their loved ones all partying, was the cue to pack up.

A fun and laidback wedding, for this fun and laidback pair, at a charming and unique wedding venue.

Congratulations to Helen and Rob for getting married and for allowing us to tell the story of your amazing wedding day.
